J. Collene Duhamel, age 75, of East Canton, died Sat., Sept. 24 in Minerva Eldercare Center. She was born July 23, 1936 in Ravenna, OH to James and Opal (Pippin) Murdock. She was a dietary manager for Molly Stark for 15 years, and was a member of the Dietary Management Assoc. and the HIFS.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Duhamel who died in 1987.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna "Michelle" Duhamel of Cincinnati; a son, Michael (Daniele) Duhamel of Malvern; a sister, Jackie Crew of TN; 2 grandchildren, Rhiannon Gambone and Daniel (Vickie) Duhamel.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Sept. 30 ^th in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva from 6-8 pm. Following cremation, interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Society for the Prevention of Blindness.
