Jerry L. Ruff
Age 84, of Minerva, died Wed., Sept. 16, 2015 in Aultman Hospital. He was born April 13, 1931 in Minerva to John and Cleo (Rue) Ruff. He was a computer programmer for TRW in Minerva. He graduated from Minerva High School, attended Mount Union University and was a US Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Charlene (Large) Ruff whom he married June 1, 1955, son, Greg (Diane) Ruff of Minerva, 2 daughters, Jody (Greg) Holtz of Estero, FL and Jennifer (Ted) Dunbar of Canton, sister, June MacConnell of Minerva, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a brother, Jack Ruff and a great granddaughter, Abigail Dunbar.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services on Sunday.
