Jeremiah T. Ward
Age 28, of Minerva, went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton. He was born May 22,1997, in Alliance to Thomas (Sara) Ward of Wellsville and Michelle (Polen) Ward of Minerva. He was a shop manager and a mechanic for The Shop, a mechanic for the City of Canton and a driver for Regional Expedite. He graduated from Minerva High School and R.G. Drage Career Center in 2015 and is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church. Some of his proudest moments include being baptized at Lake Mohawk by John Long and becoming a father to Delilah, and being an uncle to his nieces and nephew. He loved being with his three dogs and cats. He enjoyed being a part of the Derby, wrenching on cars and trucks, "playing" in the mud with his old Jeeps, and spending time with his friends and family. Jeremiah would often write, read and "paint" this verse in his hospital room from the book of James. James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by a wife, Sierra and daughter, Delilah Ward of New Philadelphia, Ohio, maternal grandmother, Midge Polen Snyder of Minerva, sister, Madalyn (James) Grossman of Minerva, 3 nieces and nephew, Emmah, Evalyn, Remington and Emersyn Grossman of Minerva. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held on January 10, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Minerva First Christian Church with Pastor Chris Sanford officiating.
