Jay R. Chadwell, age 64, of Minerva, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015 in Canterbury Villa in Alliance. He was born June 1, 1950 in Steubenville to the late Harley and Mary (Stacy) Chadwell. He was a tool and die maker and machinist for Hall Machine in Carrollton and a member of the Lisbon Baptist Temple.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Burns) Chadwell whom he married in 1975; daughter, Melanie Evans of MI; 2 sons, Jamie (Kim) Chadwell of MI and Jason (Jennifer) Chadwell of Minerva; 2 sisters, Karen (Reuben) Uniat of TX and Kathy (John) Sterling of Columbus; brother, James Chadwell of MI; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Charles Cusick officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours will be Monday 6-8 pm and one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. or Alliance Visiting Nurse and Hospice.
