Janet (Meeks) Baxter
Age 67, of Malvern, died Sunday May 5, 2013 in Hennis of Boliver. She was born March 8, 1946 in East Canton to the late Clarence and Ada (Cross) Goddard. She had worked at Wackerly's Restaurant in Malvern and the Crawford Nursing Home in Malvern. She was a member of the Plus or Minus 60 ministries.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Meeks who died in 1978; 4 sisters, Carolyn Wells, Dolly Goodwin, Betty Stout and Jean Lester. She is survived by several nieces and nephews including her nephew, buddy and his wife, Gary and Donna Cole Jr. of Waynesburg, sister, Nancy Pennington of Toledo, several great nieces and nephews and many great great nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm in Heritage Memorial Gardens in Minerva with Rev. Norman Cox officiating.
