Jan M. Parker

Age 67, of Kensington, passed Sunday, March 28, 2021 in Aultman Hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1953 in Canton to Wayne and Wilda (Sheline) Parker. He worked at Crane Deming in Salem for 32 years. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1973 and is a member of the Eagles. He was an avid bicyclist and made several trips from Pittsburgh to Washington DC, camping and making friends along the way.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Norton) Parker whom he married Sept. 8, 1974; daughter, Jillian (Luke) McCrobie of Alliance; son, Michael Parker of Beloit; 3 sisters, Kay (Frank) Woodall of Port St. Lucie, FL, Sally (John) Hanan of Kensington, Toni (Jim) Burchfield of Kensington; 3 brothers, Kenneth (Thelma) Parker of Salem, Timothy (Lori) Parker of Minerva, Christopher Parker of Ormond Beach, FL; sister-in-law, Raylee Parker of Canton; 9 grandchildren, Zander, Elsie, Dash, Gibeon, Blake, Bailey, Bryce, Myles and Maizy; and many nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by a brother, John David Parker.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Jaime Burchfield officiating.
