James C. Sparks
Age 74, of Beloit, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Great Trail Care Center in Minerva. He was born June 4, 1940 in Kentucky to Clifford and Mary (Nolan) Sparks. He worked for General Motors in Lordstown and was a part time bartender for Birdies Wreck, Ira's Pub and the Log Cabin in Sebring for several years.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Gayla Calderone of Damascas, son, Jeffrey Sparks and his fiancé, Gina Downard of Minerva, 2 sisters; Betty (Junior) Gartrell of FL and Billie (Jim) Ratliff of Minerva, brother, Wayne Sparks of Minerva, 2 grandsons; Shane Sparks and his fiancé Mindy of PA and Sawyer Sparks of Minerva and a great grandson, Carson Sparks. He is preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Romano and a brother, David Sparks.
Following his wishes, he was cremated and there are no formal services.
