James H. Ramey

Age 69, of Minerva, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021 in Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton. He was born Jan. 29, 1952 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Lloyd and Jinnie (Catron) Ramey.  He was a carpet installer for many years and was a truck driver for the Minerva Dairy and E-Z Way Refuse Service in Minerva. He is a member of the American Sportsman's Club in East Canton.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing and a good game of pool.  He was a very good cook and loved preparing dinners for Thanksgiving and other family functions.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Anderson) Ramey whom he married May 17, 1989, son, Luke Ramey of Hartville, brother, Pete (Cindy) Ramey of Louisville and special cousins, Sandy and Dawn.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Bubby Ramey.

Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
