James "Todd" Martin

Age 53, of Minerva, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021. He was born Jan. 2, 1968 in Canton to James "Phil"  and Jeanne (Hanaoka) Martin of Minerva. He is a Deputy Sheriff for the Carroll County and a Maintenance Supervisor for PCC Airfoils.  He graduated from Minerva High School in 1986.  He was a member of the US Marines Corps and served in Operation Desert Storm.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by 3 sons, Jared, Nicholas and Zachary all of Mechanicstown, sister, Tai Martin of Warren, MI, 2 brothers, Aron (Joann) Martin of Navarre, Robbie Chutaro of the Marshall Islands.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, Oct. 28 ^th from 5-8 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Graveside services with full military honors will be held in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery near Rittman at a later date.
