James F. Kienzle
Age 70, of Minerva, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022 in Aultman Hospital. His perfect mixture of wit, sense of humor and thoughtfulness coupled with his endless talents and knowledge made him the man he was. Honesty and integrity were the cornerstone principles of how he lived his life. Whether it was business, friends, or family, his relationships always came first and it showed through the impact he left on everyone he met. He was born March 10, 1952 in Salem to Jewel (Lancaster) (Kienzle) Soeder of Canton and the late Stanley Kienzle. He was the owner of Kienzle Repair Solutions Inc. for 38 years. He graduated from North Canton High School in 1970. He is a member of the Minerva United Methodist Church. A licensed referee for many years, he is a member of the Eastern Ohio Basketball Officials Assoc., Canton High School Umpires Assoc., Hall of Fame Volleyball Assoc, the NRA and the Ohio Gun Collector's Club.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Crystal (Lindesmith) Kienzle whom he married June 21, 1980, daughter, Jennifer (Adam) Palmer of Minerva, 3 sons, Matthew (Christina) Kienzle of Harbinger, NC, Brian Kienzle of North Canton, Daniel (Alyssa) Kienzle of Louisville, 2 sisters, Janet Holben of North Canton, Barbara (Randy) Tarbet of North Canton, brother, David Kienzle of the Netherlands, brother-in-law, Calvin Bennett of Mogadore, 6 grandchildren, Madison, Harper, Paisley and Leo Kienzle, Alex and Joey Palmer. He is preceded in death by his father and a sister, Marjorie Bennett.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Minerva United Methodist Church with Rev. Peggy Garner officiating. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 11am to 1pm Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
