James "Gator" Driggers

Age 73, of Canton, died Monday, Dec. 21, 2020. He was born Oct. 13, 1947 in Reidsville, GA to the late James and Jarelle (Casteen) Driggers. He was an Engine Inspector for Hercules and had worked for Staples Office Supply. He graduated from Glenville High School in GA and is a former member of Augusta Lodge #504 Free and Accepted Masons.

He is survived by his wife, Dorathy (McFall) Driggers whom he married Jan. 2, 1980, 2 sons, Joshua Driggers of Minerva, George "Sonny" McFall of Struthers, sister, Gail (Randy) Tye of Jacksonville, FL, 2 brothers, Merril Driggers of FL, Keith Driggers of GA, brother-in-law, Steve Rowan of Wintersville and 5 grandchildren, Johnathen, Cheyanne, Jerron, Devin and Nevaeh.

Funeral services will be Monday at 12 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 10am to 12 noon at the funeral home.
