James Eugene Denman, Age 54, of Kensington, went home to be with his Lord and Savior unexpectedly, Friday, April 29, 2016 in the Alliance Community Hospital following an apparent heart attack. He was born Nov. 1, 1961 in Mt. Vernon, OH to the late Harley and Dora (Weaver) Denman. He is a 21 year employee of PCC Airfoils in Minerva, a member of the Damascus Friends Church in Malvern. He loved Jesus and enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, Christmas music and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Brown) Denman whom he married, Sept. 26, 1992, 7 children, James Denman of Minerva, Jerry (Misty) Denman of Kingsport, TN, Jeffrey Paul (Kaylee) Denman of Minerva, Elizabeth Denman of Alliance, Malinda Denman of Kensington, Hannah (Jake) Guthrie serving in the US Navy stationed in Honolulu, HI and Rylee Denman of Kensington, 6 grandchildren, Amaya, Madison, Sahpira, Faith, Opal and Issac, 7 brothers and sisters, Kathleen (Jim) Denman-Long of FL, John (Nancy) Denman of FL, Donna (Russell) Wickham of OH, Jeff (Jane) Denman of FL, Pauline (Tom) Guthrie of OH, Paul Denman of FL, Diana (Michael) Jones of OH and Joshua Brady of OH, sister-in-law, Donna Denman of Bladensburg, OH. He is preceded in death by 2 infant daughters, Faith and Hope, brothers, Frank Denman and Lonnie Brady Jr. and mother and father-in-law, Linda and Russell Brown.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Mark Wells officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-8 pm in the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Wed.
