James F. Coffy, Age 73, of Malvern, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Aultman's Compassionate Care Center. He was born Aug. 8, 1941 in Minerva to Donald and Eva (Duvall) Coffy. He was the service manager for the Ford Dealership in Carrollton for many years and was the owner of Wood Shop Plus Carpentry. He is a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrollton and the Atwood Yacht Club.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Carol (Magee) Coffy whom he married April 30, 1961, 3 children; Michael Coffy of Minneapolis, MN, Dianne (Steven) Ferrell of Malvern and Lynda Jones and fiancé Dave Morgan of Minerva, sister, Florence (Tom) Furey of Malvern, brother, Carl Coffy of Columbus, 4 grandchildren; Paul Coffy, Ryan and Taylor Ferrell and Regan Jones and 4 nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Christopher Furey, Laura Lasch and David Boyd.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. J. Andrew Riggs officiating. Calling hours will be Thursday 4-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Aultman Compassionate Care.
