James H. Brown, age 61, of the Minerva Senior Center, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013. He was born June 6, 1952 in Dover, Ohio to the late John and Nellie (Bayer) Brown. He loved music and dancing and became known around town as "Jumping Jimmy". He was also a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
He is survived by a sister, June (Kenny) Toalston of Kensington; two nephews, John (Chris) Toalston of Robertsville and Mike Seevers of East Rochester; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline Seevers.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with John Brown officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Following cremation burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
