Jack Strait

Age 86, of Robertsville, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 in his home surrounded by his family.  He was born April 14, 1938 in Robertsville to the late Harry and Hazel (Pritchard) Strait. He is retired from St. Regis and Georgia Pacific where he worked for many years.  He is a member of the Robertsville Wesleyan Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Linda (Ritchey) Strait whom he married Dec. 2, 1957, 4 children, Danette (Timothy) Klotz of Malvern, Dennis (Brenda) Strait of Carrollton, Donna (Willis) Cline of Malvern, Brian Strait of Mineral City, a sister, Kathryn (Don) Clapper of East Canton, brother, Jerry (Carol) Strait of Louisville, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Strait and a brother, James Strait.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 am in the Robertsville Wesleyan Methodist Church with Rev. Douglas Strawn officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from 10-11 am at the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made  to the Robertsville Wesleyan Methodist Church.
