Jack Nichols

Age 79, of Minerva, died Wednesday, December 1, 2021 on his birthday. He was born December 1, 1942 in Dennison, to Oakie and Ada (Rutledge) Nichols. He was a self-employed all of his life and is a former member of the Minerva Eagles. He was also a member of the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church in East Canton.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Jones) Nichols who passed away on July 28, 2015; a sister, Jenny Dye; and 2 brothers, Jerry and Bill Nichols.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Jackie Boley of Minerva, Candace (Mark) Schenk of Spring City, TN; 4 sons, Bruce (Jackie) Nichols of Minerva, Robert (Rachel) Nichols of Minerva, Troy Nichols of Ravenna, Mike Nichols of Minerva; special family friend, Randy Lambert of Rota, Spain; a sister, Patty (Clyde) Campbell of Carrollton; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at Wednesday, December 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church with Pastor Christy Suffecool officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Those wishing to share their condolences may sign the online register book at www.Gotschallfuneralhome.com .
