Jack M. Miller, Sr.
Age 71, of Minerva, was united with his wife Sat. June 1, 2013 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 5, 1942 in Canton to Donald and Mildred (Mayhorn) Miller. He was owner of Miller's Building & Remodeling Co., and Miller's Birds.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Judith (Gween) Miller who died in 2006, and a brother, Don Miller. He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Downs and a son, Jack Miller, Jr. both of Minerva, 2 sisters, Marjorie (Dick) Derby of East Sparta and Dorothy Trussel of Minerva, half-sister, Doris (Chuck) Neff of Minerva, brother, Bob (Dorothy) Miller of Louisville, half-brother, Pete (Sherry) Mathis of Minerva, 3 grandchildren, Kimberly (Jeff) Jobes, Tammy and Jennifer Downs and 4 great grandchildren, Joslynn, Jayden, Kadin and Jacob.
Calling hours will be Wednesday evening 6-8 pm at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am in the Leavittsville Cemetery with Kevin Mangun officiating. A procession will form at the funeral home at 10 am for those wishing to attend the graveside.
