Iris M. Sparks

Age 73, of Minerva and formerly Texas, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017. She was born Sept. 21, 1943 in Detroit, MI to Paul and Ethel (Gouze) Wardell. She worked in retail sales for many years.  She was an avid animal lover.

She is survived by her stepmother, June Stough of AZ, 7 sisters, Dorothy Dibler, Ruth White, Linda Grantom, Pearl Garber, Yvonne Wendell, Kathy Wells, Beverly Hodge, 7 brothers, Robert Tessanne, Norman Tessanne, Larry Tessanne, Fred (Pat) Tessanne, Daniel Wardell, Tim Wardell, and Randy Irwin, 2 sons, Steven and James Sparks and a granddaughter, Stephanie Hadley. She is preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice VanCamp and 3 brothers, Paul Wardell, Gary Irwin, and Jim Tessanne.
