Inez E. Davis, age 93, of Minerva, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 in the Hospice House of New Philadelphia. She was born Oct. 12, 1921 in New Harrisburg to Jess and Mary (Scarlett) Sutton. She worked at the A&P Grocery stores in Minerva, Carrollton, Canton, Lisbon and Salem. She is a member of the Minerva First Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Carrollton Music Club.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Davis who died July 13, 2014 and a son, Gary Davis. She is survived by two daughters, Louise (Harold) Rinninger of Carrollton and Diane Bickley (Howard Bursee) of Canton; brother, Edward (Wanda Jean) Sutton of Redhook, NY; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Following a private burial in New Harrisburg Cemetery, a memorial service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 13th at 11:00 am in the Minerva First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ben George officiating.
