Imogene "Ima" Brandenburg

Age 77, of Lisbon, died Saturday, April 1, 2017 in the St. Joseph's Care Center in Louisville. She was born Aug. 7, 1939 in Itmann, WV to Ora and Effie (Short) Sargent. She was a housewife and member of the Waynesburg Free Will Baptist Church. She graduated from Stoco High School in Coal City, WV in 1957.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Brandenburg who died in 2004. She is survived by 2 daughters, Danita (John) Baughman of Malvern, Susan (Raymond) Mingus of Lisbon, son, L. Damon (Violet) Brandenburg of Mingo Junction, 2 sisters, Shirley (Arnold) Lilly of White Plains, MD, Virginia (Randall) McKinney of Darien, IL, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Raymond Stanley officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery near East Canton. Calling hours will be Wednesday 6-8 pm. The family would like to thank the St. Joseph's Care Center and all of their staff for all of their loving care.
