Hillard "H.K." Johnson
Age 85 of Minerva died Wed. May 23, 2012 in his home. He was born Nov. 25, 1926 in Louisa, KY to Charles and Della (Hannah) Johnson. He retired from the Timken Co. after 30 years of service and was the owner of the Village Shoe Shoppe in Minerva. He is a member of the Great Trail Church of God.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne (Ratliff) Johnson who died in 1995, sister, Gypsy Chandler and 4 brothers; Otto, John, Junior and Ottis Johnson. He is survived by many nieces and nephews including; Kaaren (Doug) Tinlin of Minerva, Linda (Ed) Musguire of Lisbon, Larry (Kathy) Johnson of Minerva and David (Theresa) Johnson of Tullahoma, TN, sister, Anna Pearl Jeter of Urbana, brother, Bill Johnson of Urbana, and 2 sisters-in-law; Irene Johnson of Minerva and Goldie Johnson of KY.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 29th at 1:00 pm in the Great Trail Church of God with Pastor David Guess officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 11 am-1 pm prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
