Herbert S. Cayton, Jr.

Age 65, of Canton, died Tuesday, July 6, 2021. He was born May 13, 1956 in Canton to the late Herbert and Evelyn (Jackson) Cayton, Sr. He was a foreman for Quality Mold in Akron and had worked for Fitness Quest in Canton.

He is survived by a son, Christopher (Brittany) Cayton of Canton; 3 sisters, Mary (Bob) Ackerman, Rebecca Manley of Minerva, Vicki Howe of Millersburg; brother, Howe (Becky) Cayton of Minerva; and 2 grandchildren, Memphis Cayton and Colton Bobkoskie. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Debbie Dourm.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Sunday, July 11, at 6:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Drew Prendergast officiating.  Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services, from 4-6 pm at the funeral home.
