Helen L. Wright

Age 92, of Malvern, died Monday, March 4, 2019 in Aultman Hospital. She was born March 20, 1926 in Moultrie to Paul and Gertrude (Grove) Flenniken. She retired from Worthington's in Salem and had worked as a bartender for the Jackson, the Normandy, Bing's Lounge and the Minerva VFW.  She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church and had attended the Malvern First Christian Church after moving to Malvern. She is a member of the Minerva VFW Aux. Post #4120 and a lifetime member of the Minerva Eagles #2199.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Dianna (Richard) White of Carrollton, Tina Wright of Strasburg, 3 sons, Harold (Mary) Wright of FL, Kim (Cathy) Wright of Sebring, Val Wright of Malvern, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Margaret "Peg" Fike, Virginia Andrie, Pearl Haymaker, 2 brothers, Billy and Donald Flenniken.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday from 4-7PM in the Minerva VFW.
