Helen I. Wilson

Age 81, of East Rochester, died Sat., April 27, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 30, 1937 in Bergholz to William and Eva "Boots" (Schocksneider) Griffith. She was a homemaker, a graduate of Bergholz High School and a member of the East Rochester United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wilson who died in 2014 and 6 siblings; James "Jimmy" Griffith, Thomas "Tommy" Griffith, William "Bill" Griffith, Richard "Rick" Griffith, Chucky Griffith and Ida Jarmin. She is survived by 4 sons; Roy (Annette) Wilson of Chesapeake, VA, Raymond "Doc" Wilson of East Rochester, Kenneth Dale Wilson of North Canton and Keith (Rochelle) Wilson of Maryville, TN, 3 grandchildren; Heather (Chris) Hill of Chesapeake, VA, Holly Salton of Chesapeake, VA and Shinekwa King of Dallas, TX, 4 great grandchildren; Lindin, Aden, Tristian and Tyler and 6 siblings; Harold (Sandy) Griffith of Bergholz, Beverly Dickson of Salineville, Anna Madison of Salineville, Connie (Dan) Householder of Irondale, Jenny (Leo) Bennet of Bergholz, and Ruthie (Ralph) Frederick of OK.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 3:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Fred Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 1-3 pm at the funeral home.
