Helen L. Martin, age 83, of Malvern, died Sat. Dec. 8, 2012 in Mercy Medical Center in Canton. She was born Aug. 25, 1929 in Malvern, Ohio to Willis and Anna (Hodge) Ludy. She was a 1947 graduate of Malvern High School and a member of the Malvern First Christian Church and Minerva Calvary Wesleyan Methodist Church.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Florence (James) Breckenridge of Malvern, Faye ( Paul) VanMeter of Minerva, Katherine (Gary) Price of Minerva; 2 sons, Ralph (Debbie) Martin of Canton, Willis (Carol) Martin of Minerva; 2 brothers, Roy (Joyce) Ludy of Malvern and James Ludy of Malvern; 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 3 great-great gradchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Martin who died May, 19, 2011; a son, Kris Martin, 2 sisters, Vera McDonald and Judy Ludy and a great grandson.

Following cremation, a graveside memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday in Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern with pastor Blake Quales officiating. Those wishing to share their condolences may sign the online register book at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com
