Hazel M. Davidson, age 70, of Alliance, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 in the Alliance Community Hospital. She was born March 27, 1946 in Canton to Tony and Dorothy (Creager) Hamby. She retired from PCC Airfoils in Minerva after over 30 years of service.  She graduated from Alliance High School, attended the Minerva First Christian Church and was the former Treasurer and member of the Alliance Eagles.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Davidson who died in 2000, sister, Mona Whitacre and 3 brothers, Fred Hamby, Bill and Chuck Snyder. She is survived by a daughter, Katie Daniels of Alliance, son, Howard (Jennifer) Tarbet of Rockwall TX, 2 sisters, Jennie (Bart) Bean of Alliance, Suzanne (Bill) Ewing of Canton, 2 brothers, Jerome Hamby of Alliance, Frank Hamby of Leesville, Louis., 2 grandchildren, Katelyn and Justin Daniels.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Dale Roberts officiating. Calling hours will be held Saturday 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
