Hazel Clapper

Hazel Clapper, age 97 of North Canton and formerly Minerva died Tuesday March 8, 2011 in her home. She was born June 29, 1913 in Minerva to Arthur and Grace (Wallace) Kail. She retired from the Timken Co. where she was a secretary and was also co-owner of the Minerva Hardware. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1931 and the Canton Actual Business College in 1939. She is a member of Esther Chapter #120 OES and the Huit Club of Minerva.

She is preceded in death by her husband Nelson Clapper and a brother Forrest Kail. She is survived by two sons Larry and Jill Clapper of Massillon and Lynn and Shirley Clapper of Mount Vernon, and 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
