Harry Beaber
Age 79, of Paris, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born Dec. 31, 1934 in Paris to Harry and Pearl (McQueen) Beaber. He established Beaber Farms Seed and Supply in 1977 and was a longtime dairy and grain farmer. He graduated from Louisville High School in 1977, was an avid hunter and lifetime member of the Mapleton Gun Club and the Knox Gun Club, member of the Amateur Trap Shooters Assoc. and won many awards for trap shooting. He is a member of the Stark County Farm Bureau and an active supporter of 4-H at the local fairs.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna (Shutler) Beaber who died in 2008; daughter, Beth Ann Beaber, 6 brothers and sisters, Virginia Mays, Ruth Bailey, Evelyn Cross, William, James and John Beaber. He is survived by a daughter, Pearl Bolog of Alliance; 6 sons; Harry (Janice) Beaber Jr. of Alliance, Dennis (Becky) Beaber of Paris, Thomas (Brenda) Beaber of Minerva, Jonathan Beaber of Sandy Springs, GA, Kirk (Bob Beck) Beaber of Canton and Todd (Cheryl Preston) Beaber of Malvern; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wed. at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5-8:30 pm and one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
