Harold Dean Moore
Age 87, of Minerva, passed away on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, at the Gables of Canton, He was born November 19, 1937, in Scio, to Leroy and Enda (Finical) Moore. After graduating from Scio High School in 1955, he began working in instrumentation for Cold Cast in Minerva, which became TRW and then, PCC Airfoils, where he retired with 45 years of service. During those years, he was also a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the village of Minerva, a head trustee of Minerva First Christian Church, where he also taught children's Sunday School Classes and Youth Group, and he served on the Credit Union Board.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, teacher and co-worker who faithfully served God, his family and others as long as he was able.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Janine (Clayton) Boyd of New York, Beth (James) Rininger of Carrollton, 2 sons, Jim (Paula) Moore of Kensington and Ben Moore of Minerva. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of many years, Linda Kay Moore, daughter, Lisa Reed and 2 sisters, Mary Stapleton and Peg Ridgeway.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, September 10th at 1:00 pm at the Malvern First Christian Church, with Mr. Kenny Thomas officiating. Calling hours will be held 2 hours prior to services, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Malvern First Christian Church.
