Obituary

Harold S. Hunt Jr. (Bub)

Surrounded by his loving family on May 9, 2023, Harold S. Hunt Jr, born July 21, 1950, went home to be with the Lord. He is survived by his wife, Lori (Baer) Hunt whom he married January of 1983. His daughters Kristine (Nick) Stropki of Canton and Holly (Mark) Bandy of Beloit. His siblings Patsy Hubek and Pam (Bob) Lung. He had 6 loving grandchildren Natalie, Hunter, Nathan, Julia, Adalyn and Cassie. And many wonderful nieces and nephews. Harold was a truck driver in his early years and a career welder till he retired.

He was married 40 years and was a dedicated loving "girl dad". His family and friends knew him as "Bub". Bub was the greatest husband and the world's best daddy and papa. He loved spending time with his grandkids teasing them, making them giggle. A storyteller and jokester, Bub was so much fun, bringing laughter and light to those he loved. He enjoyed family time, classic rock, long drives, and spending time in his "mancave". You could find him in his garage tinkering away and listening to the radio. At the lake, he enjoyed boating and fishing with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Harold Hunt Sr. and Ruth Barth.

A Celebration of Life will be on June 3, 5p to 8pm, at the Hidden Abbey in Homeworth. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com .
