Harold K. Glasure, age 76, of Minerva died Thursday, July 25, 2013 in Minerva Eldercare Center. He was born July 26, 1936 in Toronto, Ohio to Lelon and Martha (Rawson) Glasure. He retired from Republic Steel in Canton after working 31 years as a production worker, is a US Naval veteran, a 1955 graduate of Jefferson Union High School , was a member of the Louisville Eagles, the Mingo Sportsman's Club and was an avid bowler.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Kuykendall) Glasure whom he married May 11, 1959; 5 daughters, Patricia Montgomery of Tombstone, AZ, Evelyn "Kathy" Thayer of Minerva, Debra (Les) Vernon of Evans, GA, Martha (Walt) Wallace of Kensington, Kimberly Anstine of Zanesville; a son, Harold Glasure II of Cincinnati, OH; a sister, Lorena Goddard of Toronto, OH; 2 brothers, David Wayne (Netty) Glasure of West Union, WV, Edward (Alma) Glasure of Toronto, OH; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a brother Lelon Frank Glasure.

Memorial services will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Bayard United Methodist Church.
