Harold G. Cook
Age 66 of Malvern died Monday Nov. 5, 2012 in his home. He was born Aug. 18, 1946 in Martins Ferry to Howard and Nettie (Anderson) Cook. He retired from Republic Steel in Canton where he had worked for 34 years. He is a 1964 graduate of Jewett High School and a US Army Veteran. He was an avid fisherman and loved drag racing and helping out at the Magnolia Race Track.
He is survived by his wife, Frances (DiBacco) whom he married March 16, 1966, daughter, Lori (James) Walton of Malvern, son, Tom (Tera) Cook of Malvern, sister, Peggy (Mike) Dulkoski of Cadiz. He is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday 6-8 pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
