Harley D. Rohrer
Age 76, of Minerva, died October 5, 2019 in Altercare of Alliance. He was born in Canton, on March 7, 1943 to Edwin and Nettie (Twigg) Rohrer. He retired from Colfor as a tow motor driver after 36 years of service. He served in the US Army during Vietnam, and was a member of the VFW Post #4120, American Legion of Malvern Post #375, Minerva and Louisville Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Rohrer, whom he married January 18, 1975; a son, Jason (Angie) Rohrer of Minerva; 2 brothers, Kenneth and Gene Rohrer; 3 grandchildren, Brandon Rohrer, Leila Rohrer, Makynnah DeLong; a beloved dog, Peaches.
He is preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Rohrer, Viola McCollister, Ruth Rohrer and Linda Snyder; brothers, Art, Elmer, Charles, Robert, Ernest, Howard, Harold, Raymond, Larry Rohrer.
Funeral services with full military honors will be Friday, at 1:00pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Brett Hughes officiating. Burial will be at the Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, one hour prior to the funeral service from 12-1pm at the funeral home.
