H. “Jerry” Strait

Age 89, of Louisville, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026 in Aultman Hospital. He was born December 9, 1936 in Robertsville to Harry and Hazel (Pritchard) Strait. He was a salesman of Pepsi Co. for 23 years and for Coke for 20 years. He is a member of the Waynesburg Little Country Church. A former member of the Robertsville Volunteer Fire Department and the Little Sandy Creek Ruritan Club. He was a member of the Stark County Fair Board for many years.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Carol (Ritchey) Strait who died April 16, 2026, a sister, Margaret Strait, 2 brothers, Jack and Jim Strait and a great granddaughter, Kylee. He is survived by a daughter, Dawn (Mike) McQueen of Homeworth, 2 sons, Bruce (Sherri) Strait of Robertsville, Jerry (Trish) of Louisville, sister, Kathryn Clapper of Robertsville, 6 grandchildren, Jayme, Brandon (Krista), Aaron, Justin, Tyler and Tayler (Zach) 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Waynesburg Little Country Church with Pastor Dan Hepner officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from 10-11 am at the church. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
