Guy Richard Dourm

Age 92, of Paris, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023. He was born March 14, 1930 in Canton to Guy and Beulah (Reisinger) Dourm. He had worked for Republic Steel, LTV Steel, Pinkerton Security and Securitus Security.  He is a US Air Force Veteran.  He is a member of the VFW Post #3747 in Canton, American Legion Post #166 in Alliance, Minerva and Carrollton 40&8, a 68 year member of Homeworth Lodge #499 F&AM, 32 degree Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton and the Tadmor Shrine.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Twila Dourm daughter-in-law, Marsha Dourm and a sister, Rosemary Rhodes. He is survived by 2 daughters, Vicki Miller of Gainsville, TX, Jenny (Mike) Ellis of Minerva, son, Guy Dourm II of Minerva, 3 sisters, Dolly (Elden) Sluss of Minerva, Charlotte Dourm of FL, Sandy Menegay of Louisville, brother, Robert (Bev) Dourm of Columbiana, 6 grandchildren, Joe Plott, T.J. (Allen Cathey) Miller, Marc Ellis, Todd (Elizabeth) Ellis, Rick (Mel) Dourm, Jake Dourm,  and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Burial with full military honors will be in Liberty Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-8 pm at the funeral home where Masonic Services will be held at 7:45 pm.
