Grace Louise Heddrick Lutz

Age 88, of Minerva was born May 16, 1929 in Lakewood, Ohio to Elmer and Henrietta (Kiefer-Miller) Heddrick. Grace joined with our Lord on Sunday, April 8, 2018 in Aultman's Compassionate Care Center. Married July 21, 1951 to Earnest H. Lutz, she is survived by her daughter Carolynn (Joe) Herstine; her sons Jeff (Genny), Greg, and Curt (Adrienne); her sister Shirley, 12 Grandchildren, Dan, Tiffany, Bryan, Dustin, Shawn, Holly, Jennifer, Ian, Kat, Alana, Kristen and Christina and 5 Great Grandchildren. In-laws, Patricia Miller, Rose (LeRoy) Vandegrift, Linda (Richard) Phillips, Dallas (Heidi), Otis (Linda), Pat (Tom) Lutz and her many nieces, and nephews.  Grace was known for painting and for attending an art fellowship, but her passion was reading mysteries and she spent her life cultivating her library. She also enjoyed tending the flower gardens around the house and she enjoyed walking around Minerva at a pace that few could follow. Her family will miss playing board games with her, as it was her Christmas tradition to purchase a new game for the family each year.  Grace will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Minerva United Methodist Church with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6-8 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center.
