Grace I. Guthrie

Age 89, of Minerva, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 in St. Luke Lutheran Community in Minerva.  She was born Sept. 6, 1924 in Minerva to Jess and Daisy (Roberts) Hyatt.  She was a secretary for the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and co-owner of the Minerva Roller Rink with her husband for many years.  She graduated from Minerva High School in 1942, and the Oberlin Business School of Commerce and is a member of the Minerva First Presbyterian Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Guthrie in 2001 and a sister, Leah Rigby.  She is survived by 2 daughters, Sue Campbell of Kent and Louanne Hull of Minerva, 4 grandchildren, Mica Campbell of Los Angeles, CA, Casey (Samantha) Campbell of FL, Ashley (Brad) Johnson of MN and Zachary Hull of Minerva.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Ben George officiating.  Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.  The family would like to thank all of her caregivers, friends and staff of St. Luke Lutheran Community for their loving care.
