Grace Elizabeth "Betty" Lutz, age 88, of Minerva and currently residing at St. Luke's, died Monday, March 18, 2013 in Minerva Eldercare. She was born Jan. 10, 1925 in Canal Fulton to Charles and Mae (Mickely) Colopy. She was a housewife and member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva and the Catholic Women's Club. She was the co-owner of Mark's Dairy Bar in Minerva.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Mark Lutz whom she married Jan. 22, 1944; daughter, Dallas (Michael) Hoebeke of Alliance; 3 sons, Mark "Butch" Lutz of Columbus, Ernest Lutz of Columbus and Tom (Darlene) Lutz of Minerva; her dear sweet youngest sister, Joann (James) Heffernan of Akron; 4 grandchildren, Stacie (Victor) Factora, Jason (Ashley) Lutz, Daniel (Wonmeen) Jun and Kimberly (Scott) Cassidy and 5 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by 5 sisters, Marie, Lucille, Mary, Theresa and Ruth and 4 brothers, Louis, Jim, John and Charles Colopy.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 am in St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday 6-8 pm at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Villa in Carrollton.
