Glenda Sue Roberts

Age 73, of Magnolia, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born on July 29, 1952, in Monroeville, Alabama, to the late Robert and Anna Jo (Turberville) Ward. She worked for 23 years at Timken Steel in Canton.

She was the beloved wife of Larry David Roberts, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. Glenda was known for her gentle spirit, her kind nature, and the warmth she brought to everyone she met. She was, in the truest sense, the ultimate wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. And she will be greatly missed by her twin sister, Brenda (Clyde) McKenzie; her children, Jennifer (Kevin) Pflugh, Cynthia (Bryan) Murdoch, and Aaron (Kelly) Roberts; and her nine grandchildren: Wyatt, Claire, Aiden, Michael, Sadie, Sylvia, Christian, Layla, and Landon.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ward.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 15, 2026, in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with burial to follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern. Calling Hours will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
