Gladys M. Stryffeler
Gladys M. Stryffeler, age 89, of Minerva, died Friday, September 9, 2011 in the Great Trail Care Center in Minerva. She was born Dec. 14, 1921 in Kensington, Ohio to Austin and Marie (Manfull) Ray. She was a housewife and had worked at the Minerva Banking Company and the Timken Co. and is a graduate of Minerva High School. She was also a member of the Minerva First Christian Church, the Lunch Bunch and Ladies Aids in Kensington.
She is preceded in death by her husband R. Robert Stryffeler who died in 1996 and a son Richard Stryffeler.
She is survived by a son, Warren (Joni) Stryffelerof Minerva; a daughter-in-law, Virginia Stryffeler of East Canton; 4 grancchildren, Lisa (Titus) Miller of East Rochester, David (Dawn) Stryffeler of Franklin, PA, Sloan Stryffeler of Charlotte, NC and Lindsey (David) Rivera of Chicago; and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Ralph Norman officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., two hours prior to services at the funeral home.
