G. Jane Betz
Age 90 of Minerva died Friday August 17, 2012 in Bel Air Nursing Home in Alliance. She was born July 31, 1922 in Hopedale to Harry and Mary Etta (Merryman) Marker. She retired from TRW in Minerva and is a member of the East Rochester United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Betz who died in 1989, a son, Doug Betz, 3 sisters; Frieda Burkett, Helen Bell and Mary "Lucille" Daily, 5 brothers; Ralph, Richard, Noel, Frank and Roby Marker. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Betz of Reno, NV, 2 sons; Mark Betz of Minerva and Steve (June) Betz of Phuket, Thailand, 6 grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. A special thanks to Jane Hammond for her wonderful care.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 12:00 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Scott Williams officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be held 2 hours prior to services from 10 am to 12 noon.
