Gerald T. Kreitzer, age 70, of East Rochester, died Thursday June 20, 2013 in Altercare of Alliance. He was born Dec. 14, 1942 in Waco to the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Milford) Kreitzer. He retired from the Timken Company in 1999 where he had worked for 33 years. He is a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and is a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved fishing, gardening and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Hassler) Kreitzer whom he married June 27, 1982, 3 sisters, Mary (Don) Wassil of Massillon, Sandy White of Alliance and Ruth Ann Griffin of Minerva, brother, Jim Kreitzer of Canton and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Kenny and Richard Kreitzer.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Mark Thomas officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Augusta Cemetery.
