Georgia M. Walter

Age 72, of Canton died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018. She was born May 23, 1946 in Munich, Germany to Phillip and Hanna (Worz) Hoop.

She is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Clarence Walter, 2 sons, Frank and Raymond Walter and a sister, Christa. She is survived by a daughter, Angie (Mike) Young of Waynesburg, son, Paul (Alice) Brown of Canton, 4 sisters, Ingrid, Camella, Rita, Geraldine "Deni" and a brother, Karl.

Funeral services will be Friday at 12:00 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Rose Hartenstein officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday 6-8 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with a headstone.
