Frederick "Bud" Snider
Age 80, of Paris, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 in the Arbors of Minerva. He was born Aug. 29, 1935 in Bellaire to George and Genevieve (Murphy) Snider. He retired from Mascotech in Minerva. He graduated from St. John's High School in Bellaire and is a US Army and US Coast Guard Veteran. He is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva, 4th degree Knights of Columbus, Council #1246 in Bellaire, VFW #4120 in Minerva and Eagles Aerie #2199 in Minerva.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo (Schau) Snider whom he married Aug. 24, 1963, 3 daughters, Christine (Chris) Casale of N. Canton, Gayle (Chris) Campo of Peoria, AZ, Pam (Gary) Moody of Minerva, son, George (Jeannette) Snider of Paris, sister, Karen (Bill) Kahl of Bellaire, 3 brothers, John Snider of Utah, Gerry (Charlesetta) Snider of Jacobsburg, David (Cheryl) Snider of Jacobsburg, 6 grandchildren, Dakota, Logan, Abby, Eleni, Liam and Michael. He is preceded in death by a brother, George Snider.
Funeral services will be Wed. at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Fr. Joe Zamary officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 4-8 pm and one hour prior to services. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
