Freda M. Stuckey

Age 96, of Minerva, passed away Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 in the Carroll Golden Age Retreat.  She was born Oct. 17, 1927 in Irondale to Matthew and Stella (Rose) Russell. She was a housewife and a former member of the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199 and the Minerva VFW Post #4120 Aux.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Stuckey who died Aug. 26, 2023; her parents and her aunt and uncle who raised her, Lorin and Ella Hoopes; stepmother, Margaret Russell; brother, Richard Russell and a half-brother, Charles Russell. She is survived by 2 sons, Don Nigro of Malvern, Ron (Robin) Stuckey of Minerva; grandson, Ryan (Brittney) Stuckey of Scio; 2 great grandchildren, Rylan and Jansen and several nieces and nephews.
