Franklin A. Sanor

Age 79, of Beloit, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021 in South Pointe Hospital. He was born Oct. 29, 1942 in Alliance to Frank and Ida (Allen) Sanor. He was an electronics technician and a broadcast engineer for Channel 17 in Canton.  He graduated from Minerva High School and attended Mount Union College. An avid Ham Radio Operator, his call was WA8WHP. He was a member of the Alliance Amateur Radio Club. He had been a volunteer with the Army MARS program and had been a state training officer. He faithfully attended New Alexander Christian Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Miriam (Hagelbarger) Sanor who died Sept. 27, 2021 and a daughter, Susan Nastari. who died June 7, 2020.  He is survived by a daughter, Shari (Frank) Armstrong of Bedford, son-in-law Samuel (Susan) Nastari of Alliance, and 5 grandchildren, Eileen, Joshua, Jolynn, Conner, and Alex, and a brother, Donald (Kathy) Sanor of Minerva.

A memorial service will be held January 15 ^th at 12:00 noon in the New Alexander Christian Church with a meal following. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from 11-12. Please bring pictures and memories of Frank to share at the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the New Alexander Christian Church.
