Frank A. Brown

Age 85, of Homeworth, died November 4, 2019 in Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Salem. He was born March 5, 1934 in Moundsville, WV to Harry A. and Cora Irene (McCosh) Brown. He was self-employed truck driver and had worked as a foreman at Elger's in Salem. He was an avid hunter, loved to tinker with vintage cars and motors and enjoyed going to auctions.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Brown who died Feb. 27th 2006, son, Harry Brown, 3 sisters, Judy Altenhof, Ellen Yeagley, Nancy Sines, 2 brothers, Larry and Glenn Brown. He is survived by 2 sisters, Karen Haas of Noth Carolina, and Alice Brunner of Alliance; a brother, Dale Brown of Florida; 2 grandchildren, Eric (Kimberly) Brown of Standardsville, VA, Michelle (Paul) Richardson of Columbus, daughter-in-law, Donna Brown of Alliance, 2 great grandchildren, Nicole and Cylie.

Calling hours will be held Saturday from 6-8 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Following cremation, burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
