Frank Henry, age 74, passed away at home in Massillon Oct. 14, 2013. He was born in Carrollton the son of the late William Henry and Gertrude (Leyda) Kapp. Frank held many jobs in his life from carnival worker to restaurant manager, factory worker to security guard, craftsman to business owner. Frank was a proud Mason and will be fondly remembered for his commitment to others especially children in need as a permanent contributing member of the humanitarian by the Enchanted Lantern IRAQ Grotto of Pontiac, Michigan.
Frank is preceded in death by his second wife Christine Roache Henry, his step-father Joseph Kapp, daughter, Susan Marie, and grandchildren Luke, Faith and Hope. He is survived by his 2 half sisters and a brother-in-law, Deborah Kapp-Salupo, Gayle and Mark Krieger; his first wife, Jean A. Henry, daughters, Lisa Valdez, Jennifer Henry, Stephanie Scheuermann; son and daughter-in-law Alan and Shelley Akey; and nine grandchildren.
Frank chose to donate his body to OSU to further medical research.
A memorial service will be held Monday Nov. 18th at 10 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Keith Leach officiating.
