Frank Evans

Age 81, of Homeworth, passed away, Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024 in the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center.  He was born Jan. 16, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA to James Thomas Evans and Elizabeth Batie.  He retired from the US Navy where had served for 20 years as a radioman on 4 different Navy Ships. He then worked for 18 years for the USPS and was an Enrolled Agent as a tax preparer.  He received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Chaminade in Honolulu, HI.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Riesen whom he married June 5, 2006, 4 children; Dakar (Tracey) Evans of Hampton, VA, Calvin Browning of Chicago, IL, Sean Evans of Homeworth, Shannon Browning of Homeworth, brother, Tyrone (Gwendolyn) Evans of Streetsboro and a grandson, Dakar Evans.  He is preceded in death by a sister, Carol O'Neal, and 2 brothers, James Evans Jr. and Leslie Meadows.
