Frank Cole
Age 93, of Minerva died Sat. Dec. 17, 2011 in Aultman Hospital. He was born Oct. 22, 1918 in Newland, NC to Ira and Nola (Pritchard) Cole. Frank spent several years living in WV, Idaho and Oregon. He retired from Babcock and Wilcox in Alliance and was the owner and manager of Cap's Grocery in Minerva for several years. He is a member of the Carrollton Baptist Temple.
He is survived by his wife Peggy (Lambert) Cole, daughter; Deanna (Larry) Stoffer of Kensington, son Denzil (Betty) Cole of Minerva, brother; Ernest (Dorothy) Cole of Kensington, ½ sister; Mildred Lane of Newland, NC, 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel (Grindstaff) Cole, son; Dale Cole; 2 sisters; 4 brothers and a great grandson; Jesse Brown.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. David Powell officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6-8 pm and one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
